Seismicity around the Miyakejima, the Kozushima and the Niijima Islands
The seismicity has been temporarily activated from August 3 to the 4th in the east sea area of the Kouzushima island. The shake more than five in the seismic intensity was observed as many as eight times.
According to the observation of Earthquake Observation Center, ERI, at the stage from about 16 o'clock to about 22 o'clock the August 3, the center of the earthquake activity moved both in the direction of the northwest and in the direction of the southeast respectively at about 6km.
This phenomenon suggests that the magma's under bottom of the sea have acted again.
